Katie Taylor's Final Fight at Croke Park: MVP Eyes Perfect Opponent

Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions is set to provide the opponent for Katie Taylor’s final career fight at Croke Park in Dublin. Following the success of Taylor’s last two bouts against Amanda Serrano, MVP looks to stage a fitting farewell for the Olympic gold medallist and two-weight undisputed champion. As Taylor aims for one last boxing match before retiring, MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian has suggested Caroline Dubois as a potential opponent for what he describes as a "last dance". Additionally, the winner of Holly Holm's upcoming WBA lightweight title fight against Stephanie Han may also be a suitable contender. Bidarian remarked: "I could see a scenario where the winner of Holly and Stephanie fights Katie Taylor in her last fight. That's also very logical to me." At 44 years old, Holm, a celebrated boxer and former UFC champion, remains a compelling figure in the sport, while Han, a full-time police officer and mother, brings an inspiring story to the ring. Bidarian expressed a desire to collaborate with Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Boxing, which has represented Taylor throughout her career, to stage the event at Croke Park. He emphasized the importance of mutual respect in their partnership: "It’s only bigger if we do it together." Hearn, however, has dismissed the idea of Taylor fighting on the undercard of the highly anticipated Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua matchup, asserting: "Absolutely over my dead body is Katie Taylor going on an undercard at Croke Park." As both parties prepare for the event, Hearn confirmed that while an opponent isn’t finalized yet, they are ready to move forward with logistics and costs for the Croke Park venue.
