Manchester United Targets West Ham Duo for Summer Reinforcements

Manchester United are setting their sights on Crysencio Summerville as they contemplate a double raid on West Ham United. The Netherlands international appears on a list of potential additions as United aim to strengthen their left wing for Michael Carrick’s squad ahead of the upcoming season. Although interest remains in the early stages, United are also keen on Mateus Fernandes, eyeing the relegated Hammers for key summer acquisitions. Key points include: Summerville scored his first international goal in a 2-2 draw with Japan during the World Cup. He was previously signed by West Ham for £25m from Leeds United two years ago. Summerville was named the Championship’s player of the year for the 2023-24 season. He notably scored in five consecutive matches for West Ham in January and February, although this performance could not prevent the team from relegation. Additionally, Fernandes could play a pivotal role in United's midfield rebuild, with the club reportedly closing in on Ederson from Atalanta, who is expected to be their first signing of the summer at a fee of £35m.
