Rookie Kon Knueppel and Lillard Lead Favorites for NBA 3-Point Contest

The NBA 3-point Contest is set to take place on Saturday at 5 p.m. ET at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. This year’s event features a strong lineup, with Kon Knueppel and Damian Lillard emerging as the top contenders. Kon Knueppel, the No. 4 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, holds the best odds at +240 according to DraftKings. Damian Lillard, currently sidelined for the Trail Blazers due to a torn Achilles, follows closely with +400 odds. Lillard, now 35, faced a challenging season after his injury during the Milwaukee Bucks' first-round series against the Indiana Pacers. After being waived by the Bucks in July, he returned to Portland on a three-year, $42 million deal, where he had previously spent 11 years and earned seven All-NBA selections. Lillard is a two-time winner of the 3-Point Contest, having claimed victory in 2023 and 2024. He aims to join the elite ranks of Larry Bird and Craig Hodges, who are the only players to win the contest three times. Notably, reigning champion Tyler Herro will not defend his title, as he has been out since mid-January due to a rib injury.
