Tyson Fury's brother, Shane Fury, confirmed that the “Gypsy King” will fight on 20 November, even if Anthony Joshua withdraws from their highly anticipated bout. The two heavyweights are under contract to face off in what promises to be one of the most significant British boxing matches in history. Eddie Hearn, Joshua's promoter, has maintained that Joshua is committed to the fight in the UK, although discussions are ongoing about possibly moving the venue to Madison Square Garden in New York City. Shane expressed doubts about the fight happening, stating: “The more I’m watching it, the less I’m thinking that this fight’s gonna happen.” “Tyson’s over in America now, training as we speak.” He reassured fans that regardless of Joshua's participation, Tyson will still be in the ring: “We’re fighting on that date anyway.” “There’ll be someone lined up for a big, big fight.” Tyson, 38, last fought in July, defeating Mariusz Wach in Thailand. Meanwhile, Joshua secured a victory against Kristian Prenga in Saudi Arabia shortly after. Shane also highlighted the logistical challenges of hosting the fight in the UK, suggesting that financial considerations favor a U.S. venue: “When someone’s spending £200m, they want the best return.” Despite the uncertainty, Shane emphasized Tyson's readiness and determination, insisting that the fight will go on, whether against Joshua or another opponent.
